Twenty three years ago, God saved my soul and placed a desire in my heart to serve Him in the gospel ministry. Over the years God has taught me an important biblical lesson; He desires obedience over sacrifice. Following Jesus has been anything but dull and always seems full of surprises. Some of those surprises have been the biggest blessings a man could dream of such as my wife Kelly and our four kids (Malachi, Rylee, Jace, & Teagan). I love shepherding the hearts of people by pointing them to the great shepherd; Jesus!
Some of my greatest experiences have been serving God through missions work and church planting. God has gifted me in such a way to help keep the Great Commandment and the Great Commission at the forefront of a church’s heartbeat corporately and the believer’s heart personally. If there is one verse that expresses my heart for ministry, missions work, and churches, it would be in context of what the Apostle Paul said,
“Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches.” — 2 Corinthians 11:28 NIV
